Growing up, Texas summers were swimming lessons, sunburns, and Vacation Bible School. VBS is a family legacy as my mother and grandmothers taught in it.
Helping our church decorate for VBS in 2024 was a gift to my heart as I’d just lost someone close to me. My Children’s Minister’s words of, “You could help other churches, too,” began the idea of CRITTEROONS™.
CRITTEROONS™ downloadable patterns are designed to coordinate with the “big” VBS themes each year put out by various Christian publishing companies because a) people can doubt their own creativity, b) it can get very expensive very quickly to try to decorate multiple areas across a church, and c) each church’s needs are spaces are so unique. I wanted to design decorations that could work with any size church or church budget to create fun and welcoming spaces for VBS kids.
Let me also introduce you to Mr. T—the spoiled 9-year-old Huskey who sings more than he draws. He makes excellent company for creativity. No doubt this chatty guy will be popping up and putting his 2₵ in on social media (as soon as that is launched) whenever he gets a chance.
